Annotated Bibliographies are wonderful tools for both the author and the reader. The author can take this chance to develop a deeper understanding of her topic, while the reader is given grater understanding about each source used in an article. Certain annotated bibliographies can even stand on their own by providing enough information to the reader about the subject. This annotated bibliography will serve to whet the readers appetite for the topic of the human-animal connection. My hope is that this can serve as a launch pad for the reader to take off and discover more on their own, pursuing their own research.
